About Us

Africa Competency Development (Pty) Ltd was first founded as Competency International SA (Pty) Ltd in 1996. In 2004 our name changed to “Africa Competency Development (Pty) Ltd” as we became Black owned. This change allowed us to develop our competitive expertise, PDI status, as well as to expand our SAQA accredited Learnership and Skills Programme offerings.

Levels of Leadership (Pty) Ltd is a subsidiary of Africa Competency Development. It was formulated to offer Services SETA accredited learning programmes.

Our CEO, Carol Jordaan, is responsible for the overall operational systems and people management of our institution. Our Training Manager, Pam Upham, leads and manages all Facilitators and Assessors to the highest standard.

Our primary focus is to provide customised, learner-centred training solutions for the skills development requirements in our country. Our credibility is based on the fact that we operate as a registered and accredited Training Provider, within the framework of the Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) landscape.

Over the years Africa Competency Development has become the preferred people development partner for many state owned and private enterprises in South Africa.
